Brad and Katie rushed to the police station to tell Margo that they spotted Spencer in Chicago. Brad urged his sister-in-law to get surveillance footage from the block where they saw their presumed-dead colleague. The lieutenant refused and walked away. When Margo returned, she questioned Brad about what he saw in the Windy City. Brad insisted Spencer is alive and he vowed to prove it. Brad left and Margo begged Katie to persuade her husband to return Spencer's body or the evidence.... Dani popped into Metro and ordered a glass of wine. Henry walked away to fetch a bottle and Dani ducked behind the bar. Henry came back and grilled Dani about what she was doing. Dani gave him a sob story about how her career is on the line, but Henry was adamant that she leave the premises.
At the Lakeview, Josie swung by Dusty's room to use the Internet to look for info about herself. Dusty stopped her and informed her that there is no information about her in cyberspace and that he knows that because Emily ran a check on her. Meanwhile, Emily strolled into her office and found Paul waiting for her. She summoned him, she explained so that they could figure out a way to get rid of Josie. Emily proposed that Paul meet Josie in a public place and offer her money to leave town. Emily went on to explain that she would make certain Dusty witnesses the exchange and see Josie as a gold-digger. Paul eventually agreed.... Dusty opened up to Josie about his relationship with Emily and Josie lamented about how empty her life is. Dusty and Josie discussed using hypnotism to jog her memory. Emily rang Dusty and Josie slipped out of his room. Paul accosted Josie in the hallway and took her to the lounge where he questioned her motives and offered her a million dollars to skip town. Josie slapped him, just as Dusty walked in. Josie lashed out at Dusty and Paul and accused them of working together. Paul railed at Dusty for listening to Josie. That's when Josie exploded and brought up how Paul and Emily kept Jennifer away from Johnny. When Dusty wondered why she said that, Josie claimed the allegation just "came out." Emily became indignant and cautioned Dusty about Josie yet again.
Brad headed to Metro to enlist Henry's help in finding Spencer. Once he realized Brad was lucid and serious, Henry begrudgingly agreed to make some calls to his connections in Chicago.... Later, at Al's, Henry eyed Dani noshing on lunch and asked her why she is everywhere he goes. Henry inquired if she saw Spencer's body and blabbed that Brad believes that Spencer is alive.... Back at home, Katie assured Brad that she will stand by him and help him get to the bottom of the Spencer fiasco. Henry dialed Brad to let him know that his associates found the man who brought Spencer the music box. Minutes later, Katie received an instant message warning her not to investigate any further.... Meanwhile, Spencer was on the phone with Dani who threatened to kill her unless she stayed out of sight.
Dusty went to Josie's room, but she wasn't there. Instead he found her at Jennifer's grave. Josie maintained that she was at the cemetery to make sense of things, like why she knows more about Jen then about herself. Dusty admitted that sometimes he thinks Josie is scamming him. Josie confessed that she has stuck around Oakdale because of him and they embraced.... At WorldWide, Paul and Emily bickered about the plan to jettison Josie and Paul backed out.

Casey was skateboarding around the house when Alison showed up to help him find a job and get motivated. Casey insisted his stint in prison will prevent any respectable employer from hiring him and revealed that he still hasn't told his parents he was expelled from school. While Alison tried to jog his mind about a job he might enjoy, he leaned in to kiss her. Alison was taken aback and questioned what he was doing. Casey confessed that he's attracted to her and Ali asked him to control himself, because he is the only man she's ever had a normal relationship with. They soon headed off to Yo's to shoot pool.
Brian swung by the Snyder farm to fill Luke in on the situation with Lucinda and advised Luke to lay off the booze. Brian agreed to keep mum about Luke's drinking, on the condition he clean up his act and visit his grandmother.... Meanwhile, Lucinda stopped by Lily's to let her know she was scheduled to undergo a mastectomy. Lily was hurt that Lucinda turned to Brian for counsel, instead of her. At the hospital, Lucinda bickered with Lily about her hovering and fretting over everything. Brian arrived with a present and bolstered Lucinda's spirits before she went into surgery. Brian resolved to stand by Lucinda. Luke ran into Noah in the hospital hallway and mistakenly thought that Noah was interested in seeing him to make nice. But he was only there to bring Lucinda flowers.... Once they found out Lucinda made it through her surgery, Lily and Holden went home and Brian stayed. A groggy Lucinda woke up and commented about how she wants to live and asked Brian to marry her. He said yes!
At home, Lily and Holden worried about Luke, who was tying a load on at Yo's. Alison and Casey ran into Luke at the bar and Luke punched Casey when Casey tried to take his drink away. The three of them were soon kicked out and Luke stood in the alley, threw himself a pity party and insulted his pals. Casey dialed Noah and enlisted his help in dealing with Luke.
At Al's, Liberty informed Janet that Bonnie called her about the possibility of testifying at a custody hearing. Janet assured Liberty that Jack will convince Sage to tell the truth.... Carly went to pick up Sage at school, only to learn that Jack beat her to it. Carly left a testy message on Jack's cell phone before she marched into Al's and accused Janet of prodding Jack into forcing Sage to change her story. Janet and Carly had harsh words for each other. Liberty stuck up for her mother, but when Carly snarled at the teen, Janet told her to get out. Before Carly left, Janet called her on the carpet for all her manipulations.... All the while, Jack took Sage for ice cream and explained that he was kicked off the force because he did something illegal and lied about it. Sage contended that being honest ruins everything and then asked why he can't get back together with her mother. It seemed like Sage was ready to admit she lied about the abuse when Janet popped up to inform Jack that Carly was breathing fire over him getting Sage at school without telling her. As Jack attempted to get Sage to go home with him and Janet, her mother showed up and put the kibosh on the whole thing. Jack reminded Carly that Sage has lied about Janet twice in recent weeks. Carly threatened to have Jack collared for kidnapping the next time he picked up Sage without her permission.
Jack went to Milltown to apologize to his ex for picking up Sage without telling her. He also begged her not to drag their daughter to court and choose between them if she has even the slightest of doubts about what happened. Carly continued to rail against Janet and accused Jack of blaming her. Jack made it clear that he will air all of Carly's dirty laundry in court and she'll lose.... Janet went back to Al's and told Liberty she's afraid she's going to lose Jack.

An obnoxiously drunk Luke accosted Noah in Old Town. Luke compared Noah to Col. Mayer; Noah left Luke alone and Luke ran after him.
Lily and Holden fretted over Luke's whereabouts, while Lily admitted she never thought Lucinda's cancer would come back. They expressed relief that Brian is helping them shoulder the burden of Lucinda's illness.... At Memorial, Brian greeted Lucinda when she woke up. Lucinda recalled asking Brian to marry her and inquired if he was serious when he said yes. She remarked that she is tired of being alone and she believes he feels the same way. Brian wondered why she couldn't take yes for an answer. The pair was giggling when Lily and Holden walked in the room. "We're engaged!" Lucinda proclaimed. Lily was speechless and urged her mother to concentrate on getting well. Lily accused Brian of trying to take advantage of Lucinda. He maintained that he loves Lucinda and promised not to hurt her. Lily marched into Lucinda's room and announced she will not let her marry Brian. Lucinda was emotional as she explained that she wants to live. Lily gave her blessing.... Brian arrived with the judge and a prenuptial agreement. Lucinda and Brian were married as Lily and Holden looked on. While on his way to get some clothes for Lucinda, Brian spotted Luke wandering around in a stupor and picked him up. Brian shuttled Luke to the farm and forced him to clean himself up. Luke opened up to his new stepgrandfather about his recent woes. Brian comforted him and kissed him (bet that sobered Luke up)!
Liberty stopped by Milltown and begged Carly not to wreck Janet's life. Carly said she didn't feel comfortable discussing the Sage situation with Liberty. The teen made a case for her mother to no avail. When Parker came home, Liberty left and he followed her out. Parker confessed that he thinks his sister is lying about the abuse. Sage told Carly she's scared about going in front of a judge. Carly learned Lily was at the hospital and raced to see her. Afterward, Carly and Lily to the Lakeview went for drinks and Lily questioned Carly's motives for taking Jack to court.
Janet visited Jack at the precinct and gave him his ring back. "I am letting you off the hook," she whispered. Jack tried to give her the sparkler back and Janet sighed that she didn't want to be the reason he loses his daughter. She left her engagement ring at the station and walked out.... Jack went to Al's to talk to Janet. He finally wore her down and assured her that everything was going to be okay.

Lily asked Holden if he'd heard from Luke because she'd like to take him to see Lucinda. He hadn't, so Lily left her son a message.... At Memorial, Brian brought a feast to Lucinda's room.... Meanwhile, in Luther's Corners, Luke woke up with the image of Brian's kiss. Once he was up and about, Luke heard Lily's message and headed to the hospital.
Before her court appearance, Sage complained to her mother that she wasn't feeling well. As Carly bought muffins and hot chocolate at Java, Sage waited outside. Janet spotted Sage and reiterated that there was still time for her to tell the truth. Janet told Sage if she gave her a chance, they could all be one big happy family. Carly walked out, overheard the exchange and objected. Janet laid into Carly for hurting Jack with her custody
shenanigans.
Jack went to Lily's to enlist Holden to help stop Carly. Lily suggested that Holden go talk to Carly, but he was perplexed by the idea. He resisted, but acquiesced to his wife's demands. Holden headed to Milltown, where Carly was shocked to hear Lily sent him. As predicted, Holden urged Carly to drop her case and reinforced the impact her decision can have on her kids' lives.
Carly charged that Holden would have resorted to violence if he were in her position. Then she admitted that she's made mistakes that she can never make up for and now she's trying to protect her children.
At the precinct, Tom and Jack had a powwow to prep for the hearing. Janet told them about her interaction with Carly in Old Town. Tom resolved that they'll just have to hit Carly back harder. The barrister said that with all the dirt they have on Carly, Jack could get custody of all three kids. Janet expressed concern for Carly in the event Jack wins. Jack proposed that he and Janet tie the knot immediately to send Carly a message. At first, Janet
strenuously objected, but she finally agreed to marry him whenever he wanted.... Holden called Jack to warn that he didn't think Carly was going to change her mind. He also offered to meet Jack at the courthouse and help him in any way he could.
Luke busted into Lucinda's room as Brian toasted his new bride. He was incredulous and accused Brian of trying to rip off his grandmother. When Luke brought up their buss, Brian told him not to read into it. Luke was about the spill the beans when Lucinda summoned Brian. Lily listened to her son's objections about Brian but assured him that Lucinda is happy and he should allow her to be. Lily left and Luke was appalled to see Lucinda and Brian don wedding rings and make out.
As they got ready to leave for the hearing, Sage asked her mom if she was still going to be able to see her father. Carly explained that she would have supervised visits with Jack. Sage finally admitted that she fibbed about the abuse.... Carly rushed to the station to fill Jack and Janet in on the news, and say sorry.
Lily went home and apologized to Holden for pushing him to talk to Carly. They put their wedding rings back on and smooched.

Brad assured Katie that it can't be too hard to find their mystery instant messenger. Katie urged her husband to back off as Henry popped to up let them know his contacts tracked down Spencer's brother. Katie tried to usher Henry out, and he questioned their desire to solve the Spencer mystery. Katie asked Henry to cancel the meeting he arranged with Spencer's brother. Katie requested Brad take her to the studio. When she ran upstairs to get ready, Brad rang Henry to tell him the meeting is still on.
At Al's, Josie remarked to Dusty about how she felt more comfortable at the diner than at the Lakeview Dusty maintained he'd spend Thanksgiving with Josie, despite her perkiness. Josie suggested they go to Tampa, but changed her mind when Dusty mentioned that he went there with Jennifer. Dusty said it was a good idea, that he has fond memories of Florida. They jetted down
to the Sunshine State, where Josie sang "You Made Me Love You" — the same song Jennifer serenaded Dusty with at the same place. Dusty was confused and taken aback and told Josie the significance of the tune she chose. Dusty brought Josie's bags to her room and they kissed.
At Memorial, a sonogram confirmed that Meg and Paul are having a baby girl. They returned to the farm and Meg told Paul she wanted to move back in to Fairwinds. Emma walked in and was surprised to learn Meg was going back to Paul. Emma invited Paul to Thanksgiving.
As Katie filmed holiday promos at WOAK, Brad slipped out to see Henry. At Al's, Henry handed Brad the information about where he could find Spencer's brother.... As Brad stormed into Spencer's brother's room, Katie marched into the diner and confronted Henry about sending Brad to the meeting alone.... It turns out the man Brad thought was Spencer's brother was merely an actor paid to bring her a package. The man didn't know anything, only that a stranger approached him at an audition and he did what he was told to. Afterward, Brad returned to the studio and shared the news with Katie.
Henry returned to his room at The Lakeview and found police inside. Dani claimed she found stolen property in his room and arrested him.... Henry called Brad, told him he was collared and summoned him to the precinct. At the police station, Dani revealed that cops found the scarf that killed Spencer in Henry's room and allowed the Snyders to chat with him. Katie filled Dani in on the anonymous messages she received and suggested that her mystery contact framed Henry. Dani scoffed at the notion and asked Katie to bring in her computer so she can examine it. After Brad and Katie left, Dani phoned someone and remarked that Henry's locked up and that she can keep him as long as they want.... When Brad and Katie got home, they discovered an instant message threatening Brad on Katie's computer. She was spooked and
balked at giving the laptop to police.
