The 411
A bona fide California girl, Julie Marie Berman was born and raised in Los Angeles. Courted by casting directors and talent scouts from a young age, Berman had already starred in a number of commercials by the time most kids were learning their multiplication tables. In fact, at the tender age of 6, she landed two commercials in one week: one for Hilton hotels and one for a doll called Raspberry Cakes.
Her big break came when she was in the eighth grade, in the form of the recurring role of Shelby Connor on the hit series 7TH HEAVEN. The role of Lulu Spencer, the daughter of legendary couple Luke and Laura, is her first on daytime.
Berman graduated in May 2006 from the University of Southern California, where she majored in film and television.
On the romantic front, the actress recently became engaged to her boyfriend of 3 1/2 years, Michael Grady.

Look Who's Talking
"[Tony Geary] makes everyone around him look good. I feel comfortable when I have to do emotional scenes with him. I feel so open with him, because he's that exact way with me. He's a giving actor."— Soap Opera Weekly, 3/21/06
"I pretty much carry a makeup store in my makeup bag. I can't seem to let things go unless I finish the product, so I've accumulated beauty products that date back to when my mom gave me her old makeup to play with as a little girl!"— Weekly, 11/21/06
"You wait so long to get work, and when you finally have something work out, you want it to last for as long as possible. Most [people] get jobs because they need money and that's it. I'm fortunate because I love going to work every single day." — Soap Opera Digest, 2/21/06
"I liked the fact that they didn't pair Lulu with anyone when I first came on the show, that Lulu just floated around in stories with Luke."—Weekly, 8/15/06
